April 27. Salvation

O most merciful Father, enable me to lay hold, with the hand of faith, upon this all-important truth, that salvation is in Christ alone, that "there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved;" and that
Christ is our remedy, our ransom, our sacrifice, our hope, and our all. Help me with the eye of faith to "behold the son of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Amen.
